The Farm at Carter Hill
The Farm at Carter Hill Is a unique event property on a working farm in Marlborough, CT featuring a restaurant, Hogs breath tavern, bed and breakfast and a general store.
One of the barns on the property was recently upgraded using a GREE heat pump for heating and cooling. Model GMV-36 ODU was used with 2 indoor unit models GMV-ND-24, to provide indoor comfort in the barn.
GREE variant refrigerant flow systems are growing in greater acceptance in the HVAC marketplace for their flexibility of use in many applications. A single outdoor unit (ODU) can control the temperature of a variety of indoor units (IDU) depending on its size. VRFs (with heat recovery) will also provide simultaneous heating and cooling.
Choice of options for indoor models: wall mount, multi-position air handlers, consoles and ceiling cassettes gives greater flexibility in design and application. The ability of each zone to operate independently offers great energy savings too.
In multi-family facilities the GMV-28, 36 and 48 can be used when horizontal discharge capability is needed. VRFs can meet today’s unique building designs and offer the builder options to meet his needs.
