Tasca Ford
Tasca Ford was founded by Bob Tasca Sr in 1943 in Bristol, RI. In 1954 the dealership was completely destroyed by hurricane Carol. Bob rebuilt his new Ford dealership in East Providence and it grew to become the 2nd largest Ford Dealership in the world in the 1960’s and the birthplace of the Tasca Racing Program.
Bob passed away in 2010 but the 4th generation of Tasca family members now carry on his legacy and the family commitment that their customer “WILL BE SATISFIED”!
As Tasca Ford grew they established dealerships in other New England areas one being in Berlin, CT.
Allied Commercial™ equipment was introduced when upgrades were needed to be made to the
air conditioning system at the dealership. Accustomed to choosing quality equipment for their dealerships, a 7 ½ ton, TSA 090 condensing unit (pictured left) and TAA 090 coil were chosen.
This outside condensing unit, matched with an indoor coil, operates with chlorine free and ozone friendly R-410 A refrigerant. Low ambient pressure switches cycle the outdoor fan while allowing compressor operation in the cooling cycle. Intermittent fan operation results in a high evaporation allowing the system to operate without icing the coil.
