First Church, on South Main ST in West Hartford center was founded over 300 years ago as “Established Church of the West, Division of Hartford”.
It is a thriving community of believers that offers members and the Public many reasons to belong. Sunday worship is at 10:00 a.m. but events are happening all the time with an Academy for Young children, a library, an adult choir, handbell choir, fitness classes, and scheduled Summer Carillon concerts.
The Church recently installed new GREE HVAC equipment that provides both cooling and heating to the Academy for Young Children building. Older construction benefits from the GREE VRF technology. It’s ideal for residential and commercial installations.

An 8-ton, GREE model #GMV96 heat pump was selected with 4 multi-position air handlers and two indoor wall mounted Lux units that will cool and heat the academy. Flexibility of VRF technology allows many additional indoor systems to be connected to the ODU providing comfort to many areas of the facility.
