Artioli Dodge in Enfield, CT experienced a devastating fire that started in a service bay in May 2022. Before the fire could be retained by Thomasville Fire Co., it had spread to the showroom destroying much of the building. Undaunted by his tragic loss, Bob Artioli’s rebuild is currently underway.
A new showroom, sales office and shop area is to be heated and cooled with highly efficient, GREE, variable refrigerant flow equipment. Bob chose VRFs for the great flexibility in design they offer, and the great savings on equipment from Energize CT’s new building energy incentives.
Four, 8-ton, 2-pipe, heat pumps, (ODU), are ducted and supply heating during the winter months and cooling for comfort during those hot humid days of summer to the garage area.
Two heat recovery, 3-pipe systems, offer simultaneous heating and cooling, per indoor unit (IDU), providing individual control, per the demand of the thermostat, to each of the offices. This way each office occupant controls her own environment.
