The Connecticut Heating and Cooling Contractors Association (CHCCA) elevates the HVAC industry in Connecticut at the Capitol and with State Agencies. They advocate for members at the State level and educate personnel in license training and current codes that need to be followed. The CHCC also provide a connection between contractor membership and vendors who are members. Clover Corporation, a founding vending member since the beginning of the organization in the 1970's, has remained in a participating role for over 50 years. An Executive Director is the sole Staff of the organization. An elected voluntary Advisory Board and Leadership Officers of participating members are elected annually to add new talent, perspectives and voices each year. A Dedicated Lobbyist represents members and advocates for them at the Capitol and with agencies of the State. For over 50 years the CHCC Association has been advocating, educating and connecting members working in HVAC trades as the marketplace has experienced change. Today, smaller heating and cooling contractors are being absorbed by larger companies and membership declines are affecting the viability of the Association. It is important to maintain the availability of the advocacy, education and connection that this organization provides the heating and cooling trades in the State. Take a few moments to review the website of the CHCC (www.CHCC.net ) and familiarize yourself with the Association and what it provides to the State HVAC industry. Encourage and support this local organization and it's value to Connecticut industry.
